The seat and seat back upholstery is fully padded. The backrest can be tension adjusted to suit the needs of the individual user and is also half folding making the wheelchair compact when it is time to store or transport. The aluminium frame is strong and will support users up to 19 stone in weight. The Link wheelchair comes with swing-back and detachable armrests and height adjustable removable footplates with heel straps which swing in or out.
To the rear of the wheelchair there are anti tip wheels to prevent the chair from becoming unstable when going up inclines. The Link self propel aluminium wheelchair comes in a range of seat widths from a narrow 15" up to 19" for the larger user. All wheels have PU tyres which are puncture proof for peace of mind. The rear wheels are quick release which helps to reduce weight and make the chair easier to lift and stow away.
