When I give an opinion on a scooter or chair, it's not the opinion of a salesman, it's the opinion of someone who uses and understands what it's like to use mobility scooters and powerchairs. Auto Folders are probably the most popular powerchairs now and I can understand why.

They're SO easy to use. No catches to undo, no bits to take apart to put in your car, just push a button on the remote and it folds; push the other button and it unfolds. I've mentioned the ease of folding and unfolding and once you've used the Autofolding Powerchair, manual folders do seem a bit prehistoric.

It's always a bit of a crowd stopper when people see you unfolding the Drive and it is a fascinating thing to watch, even when you've seen it hundreds of times! You can fold and unfold it using the button on the back, or the remote control, which is similar to the'plippers' you get with all cars now. I first started using mobility scooters about 11 years ago when I was diagnosed with M. About 3 years ago I'converted' to powerchairs. I still use scooters now and then but my everyday rides are now powerchairs.

For most uses, I just prefer powerchairs. They have SO many advantages. The BIG one is manoeuvrability. Scooters are, putting it politely, a pain in the bottom in supermarkets and shops. The endless 3 point turns and having to worry about running over other shoppers gets very tiring. Powerchairs however, are a delight for shopping. The ability to spin around in the length of the chair and to drive right up to a shelf or counter makes shopping a pleasure. Access is another issue, particularly important for people with leg or hip problems such as arthritis. With a scooter you have to get your legs past the tiller; with a powerchair you just get straight in. It's so much easier to transfer.

Like scooters, powerchairs come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The Drive Autofolding Powerchair is a super easy to use compact electric fold powerchair, perfect for putting in the back of the car and for nipping around the supermarket, shopping malls, or the town centre.

It's also a great little chair for around your home. In use, the Drive is the quintessential modern shopping powerchair.

One big advantage over many other chairs is its strength. I've actually had one snap in two while I've been on it!

And I'm only about 75kgs. You get what you pay for and Drive are one of the biggest mobility companies there is; they only sell quality products. This really is the perfect powerchair for it's intended job and the fact that it's a very well made thing is a nice bonus. I don't know of a better shopping powerchair.

It comes complete with charger and remote control'plipper'. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this great little powerchair. A few examples of comments from customers are shown below. What an amazing customer service and excellent item thank you so much. Really pleased with the scooter... If you live further away than 200 miles from Lancashire, contact me and I'll give you a price.

You are also welcome to collect from our base which is in Mawdesley, Lancashire. I would rather do that than sell an unsuitable item to you. Mobility Scooters and Chairs are a very complicated subject, they come in a HUGE variety of different types and sizes and people do too, so matching one to the other requires knowledge and experience.

We don't work like that.
