The Lightweight Aluminium Wheelchair is constructed from sturdy aluminium, this wheelchair is durable and robust, yet lightweight for transporting (8.5kg in its carrying format). A nylon seat and back offer comfortable support, and along with upholstered armpads, can be easy to clean. The chair folds up easily for storage and transportation, further enhanced by a half-folding backrest and quick-release footrest and wheels. This wheelchair comes with standard footrests and has the option of elevated legrests, left, right or a pair. Elevated legrests are suited to users who need to elevate their legs, keep them straight, or who require a more comfortable footrest than those supplied as standard.

They are quick release and will swing out assisting with transfers on and off the chair, also a cushioned calf pad enhances user comfort. The length of the elevating leg rest can be altered using an allen key and the calf pad can be moved to three different positions.

The angle of the leg rest can easily be adjusted allowing the user to have their leg straight out or bent. Maximum User Weight: 115kg (18 stone).
