The XS Aluminum wheelchair is very transport friendly having many quick release components as well as built in comfort features such as tension adjustable seat and back cushions. The Aluminum frame is sturdy, but lightweight, it has a half folding back, removable arms, quick release foot rests and rear wheels. In carry format (with all the quick release parts removed) the chair weighs only 9kg (20lb), yet even though this chair is so lightweight, it has been crash tested, which provides added safety when being transported in a vehicle. The XS Wheelchair has rear stepper tubes with integrated height adjustable anti tip wheels facilitate safe kerb climbing for both attendant and independent user.

The rear wheels can be adjusted into different positions and the tyres all round are solid, puncture proof Polyurethane (PU). The XS is available in blue with a 18'' width seat or in red with a 20'' width seat. Seat Width 18" - Overall Width: 63cm (25") Seat Width 20" - Overall Width: 68cm (27"). Choice of 24'' quick release wheels (self-propel) or 12.5'' fixed wheel (transit). Sturdy, colourful aluminium frame is lightweight for transporting, durable and aesthetically pleasing.

Simple folding mechanism, half-folding backrest and removable arms as well as quick-release footrests and self-propelling rear wheels allow space-saving storage and easy transportation. Footrests swing in and out to enable transfers on and off chair, whilst flip-up armrests facilitate side transfers. Padded desk-style armrests provide additional comfort and allow unhindered access to work surfaces.
