When I give an opinion on a scooter or chair, it's not the opinion of a salesman, it's the opinion of someone who uses and understands what it's like to use mobility scooters and powerchairs. Folding Powerchairs are very popular items and you can see why. They combine almost all you could want from a powerchair into one easy to use lightweight package. I have over 10 years experience of using chairs personally as well as professionally and so I would like to think I know what I'm talking about! There are a lot of cheap chairs available, which frankly aren't very good.

They look very nice but the quality of materials and construction can be dangerously low. I've actually had one of these chairs snap in two whilst I was on it! And I'm only about 80kgs.

This is the first Lith Tech chair that I've had and I have to say it's very good. The Lith Tech is somewhere between the two.

This is a very nicely made chair with excellent specs including a range of over 15 miles and a weight carrying capacity of up to 130kg. The range in particular is very impressive, better even than Freedomchair's, with a standard battery. The construction quality is also very impressive. In use, this is a very nice chair to use, quick, but easy to drive, with great manoeuvrability, but also very stable.

Ground clearance is very good too and Lith Tech make a point in their publicity that their chairs are not just designed for putting in your car boot and running around the supermarket, they have off road capabilities as well. Folding and unfolding is super easy and quick with just a single,'easy to use' catch at the back of the seat. It literally takes less than 5 seconds to fold or unfold and when folded the SC2 will fit in virtually any car. Total weight is just 26kgs, which is excellent for a chair as solidly made as the SC2.

It's also nice to know that your chair or scooter has reached you in one piece! Not something you can always be sure of with couriers! I would rather do that than sell an unsuitable item to you.
