ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT (22kg including battery). REAR WHEEL DRIVE, 4 WHEEL. When I give an opinion on a scooter or chair, it's not the opinion of a salesman, it's the opinion of someone who uses and understands what it's like to use mobility scooters and powerchairs.

Folding Powerchairs are very popular items and you can see why. They combine almost all you could want from a powerchair into one easy to use lightweight package. There are a lot of cheap chairs available, which frankly aren't very good. The ultra lightweight chairs are the most difficult because the budget models' designers make them light simply by using light and flimsy materials. They look very nice, but the quality of materials and construction can be dangerously low. I've actually had one of these chairs snap in two whilst I was on it!

And I'm only about 80kgs. I'm a big fan of Motion Healthcare Products. I haven't found one yet that I didn't like.

These aren't'cheap' products, they are well designed and solidly built using quality materials. Th Aerolite is a great example or that.

This is an ultra lightweight, portable powerchair, that's built to last. Instead of using thin tubing, the Aerolite uses super strong (and expensive) aluminium extrusions.

The main chassis is a massively strong aluminium box section, which gives great rigidity AND light weight and with clever design also houses (and protects) the Lithium battery. In use the Aerolite is manoeuvrable and nippy, with precise, but easy to use controls. Folding and unfolding can be done in about 15 seconds and as you will see in the pictures, once folded, the Aerolite is probably the slimmest chair of its type, making it good for cars with shallow boot openings. It's also nice to know that your chair or scooter has reached you in one piece! Not something you can always be sure of with couriers! I would rather do that than sell an unsuitable item to you.
