There is a seat belt and also comes with a seat cushion. There are 2 footrests which are height adjustable and flip up to aid sitting and alighting.

The sides are easily removed so the occupant can slide onto another seat easily. The seat width is 36 cm and the wheels width is 54 cm which makes it easy to push around in tight spaces and it moves very easily.
