The main emphasis of this powerchair is to make it light enough to be practical for frequent travel. As a result the heaviest part is just 26kgs and can be lifted in to a car boot with relative ease. Its compact design is well suited to indoor use where it will manoeuvre easily, however, it has sufficient power for outdoor use thanks to its two 200w motors and 22ah battery The range of this Ergo Traveller powerchair is upto 16kms / 10 miles (depending on conditions) and will travel at 6km / 4mph with ease on a full battery charge. The powerchair is easily taken apart for travel and brakes down in to 4 components. The quick release battery box has the charging point built in to it making recharging simple.
