To identify which wheelchair or scooter ramp is most suitable for you we recommend measuring the vertical height of the step. For assisted manual wheelchairs times this measurement by 6, for electric wheelchairs and scooters times this measurement by 8. For example, if you are going up a 20cm height and you are using a scooter simply times the height by 8 for a 1:8 gradient. For example, 20cm (height of step) x 8 = 160cm (ramp length required).

You, therefore, require a ramp length of around 160cm / 5.2ft. We would therefore suggest a 6ft ramp for this.
